Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
By downloading or using Slapback ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
1. The service
Slapback is a focus and self-control tool that helps you block distracting apps and websites during focus sessions. It relies on Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Slapback is a productivity aid, not a medical or therapeutic device.
2. Subscriptions & billing
Slapback offers an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Slapback for personal, lawful purposes only, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app.
4. No guarantee of results
Slapback is designed to make distraction harder, but it cannot guarantee any specific outcome. Blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time system and your device settings.
5. Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
